My mom never loved to take pictures, but she loved when we were all together as a family.

In my conversation today, my mom reminded me of when she used to come home with comic books every month.   In the town I grew up in,  it didn't have a news stand so I would give my mom a schedule of when the X-men (mostly X-men an G.i. Joe) comics would hit the rack at Penn station in New York.   She knew I was a quiet, overweight, and short kid, but these comics would bring me joy.  She has given a similar joy to everyone she has encountered in her life.  I would never understand why she would do wedding dresses (She would sew them) for free.  Didn't comprehend why she would give food of ours to anyone who would ask.   As time as goes on, her spirit of authentic generosity is an aspiration for me and hopefully all.  I see that now.  Her life is the example of love of each other that we should live by and why this universe exists.   We laughed for a long time today just like we did when she brought those comics home.  My mother means the world to me and guides me today just as she did when I first opened my eyes to this world.
