Take care of each other.

When I was younger, I used to drive with my music on and up. I used to put together systems that had complex amplifiers and speakers. Playing my favorites and all type of music helped me get a vast appreciation (I also learned all of NYC) of all genres and how it energizes me. I remember some friends laughing when I would play rock or N.W.A. Today is the first day where I don't have a meeting, flight, emergency, or "Big Rock" task since 2019. I decided to drive with no agenda and listen to music. 
The lady at Starbucks called me "Mr. Winston" four times. The lady at store in which I procured my libations, carded me until I pulled down my mask. She laughed and said "Forget it.". We both smiled at each other and it felt great. I drove with the music on "Shuffle" as I saw people in a good mood. People were letting others in traffic in a courteous manner that is atypical of Georgia afternoon drivers. 
I'm thankful for this moment. If I've uttered a word (or a text) to you, I'm grateful for the moments we've shared. I've always been sensitive and sometimes that is an ability that I've taken for granted. Today feeling the air and people is good. Take care of yourself and your community.

As I write this, I saw the Ahmed Arbery result. Like everyone, I will process. I should feel something more visceral, but I do feel it. I pray for his family, and all of us. We have healing to do.
