Learn something ever day. That's it, end of post, LOL (Do people still say this?). This is a necessary piece of my (and perhaps your) productivity journey. What this means is that anything I learn that could conceivably help my life, I capture it. I use a couple of tools:
Learning each day gives me energy. I literally feel my brain and the excitement, especially when it is something that is completely foreign to me. What gets you excited? Learning each day is the moment that I feel my mind and spirit in alignment. WINSTON A. WILSON JR. I had originally planned for this to be my second series about how I'm handling productivity and MS but It felt better to talk a bit on how Martin Luther King Jr, has impacted my life. I complained recently about getting a coffee mug that stays warm. i thought it was just another thing to plug in and clutter my desk. Anyone, that knows me knows that I like to keep my workspace as clean as possible. I did receive one ( thanks family )and it's been amazing and helps me keep going and focused. I also received a big bag on whole bean coffee that I grind a bit each day. I share this to let me and perhaps you know that gratitude comes in all forms and sizes. I would love if you find value in my productivity messages to sign up to our newsletters and private webinars. I know that this year will be wonderful. Let's all be grateful for the be small, medium, and big aspects of our life.
This year (2022) was great. Yes it was filled with family and friends that passed or feel sick, but...there is no but. The great part is the opportunities and lessons that we should heed is clear as a bell. Be there for each other. The "Be there" is up to our personal interpretation. The only thing that i've learned is to just be there. This is hard for me on many days. As a personal productivity person, some of my things to do are rote, perfunctory, and ego focused. I've had to be intentional and incorporate this into my day. Here is my truth. When something happens to someone close to me, my "tasks" become subordinate. If you get a call, email, or text from me, I care about you. Give me some grace as I learn more about really "Being There". I believe that this being part of my intentionality will help me get better. Be there. Really there. |
