I’m a playwright, author, and storyteller, and every story I write puts my own voice on the record. From the 1987 streets of Lyrics to the pages of my upcoming novels, I write stories that refuse to stay quiet.

My Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis didn’t end my story; it marked the line where a new chapter began. It taught me that real strength is not powering through but having the courage to name your limits, adapt, and keep moving with purpose.

As Board Chair of the Atlanta Black Theatre Festival and founder of Rising Tides, I build platforms where other voices can rise. Everything I do serves one legacy: a family and community that know their voice matters.
