SEAT 37A

They say there are no coincidences, and perhaps that’s true. Maybe every unexpected moment, every repeated detail, every unexplainable alignment is just another stitch in a divine tapestry. Seat 37A began as one of those moments—a coincidence at first. But like so many things in life, it didn’t stay that way for long.

Many times as I traveled, regardless of the airline or destination, I found myself seated in 37A—Row 37, window seat A. For my day life before the pandemic, traveled pretty frequently. At first, I thought it was a mere fluke, a funny little travel quirk. But trip after trip, itinerary after itinerary, I keep seeing it. I wrote (really typed it as a quick note) down. Eventually, it stopped feeling random and began to feel like a message—a breadcrumb trail from God, encouraging me to pay attention to the small things, to notice patterns, and perhaps, to write them down.As life has gone on, I try to recognize the world around me more than in the past. As I’m preparing to finish a book, I’ve been working on for most of life, I the number on the boarding pass #coachlife, and I thought about as a story.  I grew legs and resulted in the short story.  My hope is to perhaps expand further, so I'm thankful for your support and input.
